In addition to being a writer and artist, I am also a hiker, vegetarian, editor, and customer service specialist. I’m based in the Asheville, NC area, but open to projects and commissions elsewhere.
Since 2007, I have worked as a sign painter and muralist, using pinstriping paints to letter and adorn glass windows, wood, metal, and concrete for clients such as Edible Arrangements and Little Caesar’s Pizza. I have created artwork for individuals, non-profits, and businesses in a dozen states and two countries.
As a fine artist, I work in oils, acrylics, watercolors, charcoal, and ink. My works focus on evolution, spirituality, mathematics, religious iconography, and the environment.
My influences include Hildegaard of Bingen and many medieval artists; psychedelia; the work and lives of Jo Knox, Ralph Frank, Banksy, and Nina Katchadourian; and the ecosystems in which I live.
While studying at the University of Montana in Missoula, my artwork was shown at the Zootown Arts Community Center, the Fresh Paint gallery, Computer Central, Le Petit Outre, and the University Center.
